ترجمة الآية 16 من سورة Al-Ahzab - English - سورة الأحزاب : عدد الآيات 73 - - الصفحة 420 - الجزء 21.
﴿ قُل لَّن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلۡفِرَارُ إِن فَرَرۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ أَوِ ٱلۡقَتۡلِ وَإِذٗا لَّا تُمَتَّعُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ﴾
[ الأحزاب: 16]
﴿ ترجمة: قل لن ينفعكم الفرار إن فررتم من الموت أو القتل وإذا لا ﴾
Say (O Muhammad SAW to these hypocrites who ask your permission to run away from you): "Flight will not avail you if you flee from death or killing, and then you will enjoy no more than a little while!"
English - Sahih International
Say, [O Muhammad], "Never will fleeing benefit you if you should flee from death or killing; and then [if you did], you would not be given enjoyment [of life] except for a little."
Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(33:16) (O Prophet), tell them: 'If you run away from death or slaying, this flight will not avail you. You will have little time after that to enjoy *28 (the pleasures of life).'

*28) That is, "This flight of yours will not add anything to your life. In no case will you live for ever and gain the whole wealth of the world. Hardly a few years will you live after your flight and enjoy life only as long as it is destined for you.
