ترجمة الآية 74 من سورة Al-hijr - English - سورة الحجر : عدد الآيات 99 - - الصفحة 266 - الجزء 14.

﴿ فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ﴾
[ الحجر: 74]

﴿ ترجمة: فجعلنا عاليها سافلها وأمطرنا عليهم حجارة من سجيل ﴾

And We turned (the towns of Sodom in Palestine) upside down and rained down on them stones of baked clay.

English - Sahih International

And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.

(15:74) Then We turned their habitations up-side-down and We rained stones of baked clay upon them. *41

*41) These "stones of baked clay" might have been meteoric showers or volcanic eruptions that flew and rained upon them, or these might have been blown by a strong wind.
