ترجمة الآية 15 من سورة Al-Fajr - English - سورة الفجر : عدد الآيات 30 - - الصفحة 593 - الجزء 30.
﴿ فَأَمَّا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكۡرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَكۡرَمَنِ ﴾
[ الفجر: 15]
﴿ ترجمة: فأما الإنسان إذا ما ابتلاه ربه فأكرمه ونعمه فيقول ربي أكرمن ﴾
As for man, when his Lord tries him by giving him honour and gifts, then he says (puffed up): "My Lord has honoured me."
English - Sahih International
And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."

(89:15) As for man, *8 when his Lord tests him by exalting him and bestowing His bounties upon him, he says: 'My Lord has exalted me.'

*8) Now, criticizing the general moral state of the people, it is being said: "After all, why shouldn't the men who have adopted such an attitude in the life of the world, be ever called to account, and how can it be regarded as a demand of reason and justice that when man has left the world, after doing alI he could, he should never receive any reward or suffer any punishment for his deeds?"
