ترجمة الآية 27 من سورة Al-Ahqaf - English - سورة الأحقاف : عدد الآيات 35 - - الصفحة 505 - الجزء 26.

﴿ وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مَا حَوۡلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ ﴾
[ الأحقاف: 27]

﴿ ترجمة: ولقد أهلكنا ما حولكم من القرى وصرفنا الآيات لعلهم يرجعون ﴾

And indeed We have destroyed towns (populations) round about you, and We have (repeatedly) shown (them) the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in various ways that they might return (to the truth and believe in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism).

English - Sahih International

And We have already destroyed what surrounds you of [those] cities, and We have diversified the signs [or verses] that perhaps they might return [from disbelief].

(46:27) Surely We destroyed many a town around you. We sent Our Messages to them repeatedly and in diverse forms that they may eschew (their evil ways) and return (to Allah).
