ترجمة الآية 27 من سورة Al-An‘am - English - سورة الأنعام : عدد الآيات 165 - - الصفحة 130 - الجزء 7.

﴿ وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَٰلَيۡتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[ الأنعام: 27]

﴿ ترجمة: ولو ترى إذ وقفوا على النار فقالوا ياليتنا نرد ولا نكذب بآيات ﴾

If you could but see when they will be held over the (Hell) Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back (to the world)! Then we would not deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.) of our Lord, and we would be of the believers!"

English - Sahih International

If you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, "Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth] and not deny the signs of our Lord and be among the believers."

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(6:27) If you could but see when they shall be made to stand by the Fire! They will plead: 'Would that we were brought back to life? Then we would not give the lie to the signs of our Lord and would be among the believers.'
