ترجمة الآية 29 من سورة Ash-Shura - English - سورة الشورى : عدد الآيات 53 - - الصفحة 486 - الجزء 25.
﴿ وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلۡقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَآبَّةٖۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ جَمۡعِهِمۡ إِذَا يَشَآءُ قَدِيرٞ ﴾
[ الشورى: 29]
﴿ ترجمة: ومن آياته خلق السموات والأرض وما بث فيهما من دابة وهو على ﴾
And among His Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and whatever moving (living) creatures He has dispersed in them both. And He is All-Potent over their assembling (i.e. resurrecting them on the Day of Resurrection after their death, and dispersion of their bodies) whenever He will.

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and what He has dispersed throughout them of creatures. And He, for gathering them when He wills, is competent.

(42:29) And of His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the living creatures that He has spread out in them. *50 He has the power to bring them together when He so wills. *51

*50) "In both": In both the earth and the heavens. This is a clear pointer to the fact that life does not only exist on the earth but on other planets as well.
*51) That is, "Just as He has the power to scatter them, so He has also the power to gather them all together. Therefore, it is wrong to think that Resurrection cannot take place, and aII the former and the latter generations cannot be raised up and gathered all together. "
