سورة فصلت الآية رقم 48 : ترجمة English

ترجمة الآية 48 من سورة Fussilat - English - سورة فصلت : عدد الآيات 54 - - الصفحة 482 - الجزء 25.

﴿ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَدۡعُونَ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَظَنُّواْ مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٖ ﴾
[ فصلت: 48]

﴿ ترجمة: وضل عنهم ما كانوا يدعون من قبل وظنوا ما لهم من محيص ﴾

And those whom they used to invoke before will fail them, and they will perceive that they have no place of refuge (from Allah's punishment).

English - Sahih International

And lost from them will be those they were invoking before, and they will be certain that they have no place of escape.

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(41:48) Then all those deities whom they once used to call upon shall vanish *64 and they will come to know for sure that there is no escape for them.

*64) That is, "In their utter hopelessness they will look around to see if they could find any one of those whom they used to serve and worship in the world, who could come to their rescue and save them from God's torment, or at least have their punishment reduced, but they will find no helper on any side."
