سورة النحل الآية رقم 51 : ترجمة English

ترجمة الآية 51 من سورة An-Nahl - English - سورة النحل : عدد الآيات 128 - - الصفحة 272 - الجزء 14.

﴿ ۞ وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوٓاْ إِلَٰهَيۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِۖ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞ فَإِيَّٰيَ فَٱرۡهَبُونِ ﴾
[ النحل: 51]

﴿ ترجمة: وقال الله لا تتخذوا إلهين اثنين إنما هو إله واحد فإياي فارهبون ﴾

And Allah said (O mankind!): "Take not ilahain (two gods in worship, etc.). Verily, He (Allah) is (the) only One Ilah (God). Then, fear Me (Allah) much [and Me (Alone), i.e. be away from all kinds of sins and evil deeds that Allah has forbidden and do all that Allah has ordained and worship none but Allah].

And Allah has said, "Do not take for yourselves two deities. He is but one God, so fear only Me."

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(16:51) Allah has enjoined: "You shall not take to yourselves two gods; *43 for He is the only One God: so fear Me."

*43) Negation of two gods by itself negates the existence of more than two gods.
