ترجمة الآية 58 من سورة An-Nahl - English - سورة النحل : عدد الآيات 128 - - الصفحة 273 - الجزء 14.

﴿ وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلۡأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجۡهُهُۥ مُسۡوَدّٗا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٞ ﴾
[ النحل: 58]

﴿ ترجمة: وإذا بشر أحدهم بالأنثى ظل وجهه مسودا وهو كظيم ﴾

And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with inward grief!

English - Sahih International

And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.

(16:58) When anyone of them is given the good news of a daughter, his face grows dark after this news and he chokes with inward gloom:
