ترجمة الآية 82 من سورة Al-hijr - English - سورة الحجر : عدد الآيات 99 - - الصفحة 266 - الجزء 14.

﴿ وَكَانُواْ يَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ ﴾
[ الحجر: 82]

﴿ ترجمة: وكانوا ينحتون من الجبال بيوتا آمنين ﴾

And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure.

English - Sahih International

And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure.

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(15:82) They hewed their dwellings into the mountains *46 and apparently lived in full security.

*46) That is, "Their strong and secure buildings, which they had hewed into the mountains, could not protect them from the blast. "
