ترجمة الآية 40 من سورة Al-Isra’ - English - سورة الإسراء : عدد الآيات 111 - - الصفحة 286 - الجزء 15.

﴿ أَفَأَصۡفَىٰكُمۡ رَبُّكُم بِٱلۡبَنِينَ وَٱتَّخَذَ مِنَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنَٰثًاۚ إِنَّكُمۡ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوۡلًا عَظِيمٗا ﴾
[ الإسراء: 40]

﴿ ترجمة: أفأصفاكم ربكم بالبنين واتخذ من الملائكة إناثا إنكم لتقولون قولا عظيما ﴾

Has then your Lord (O pagans of Makkah) preferred for you sons, and taken for Himself from among the angels daughters. Verily! You utter an awful saying, indeed.

English - Sahih International

Then, has your Lord chosen you for [having] sons and taken from among the angels daughters? Indeed, you say a grave saying.

(17:40) What! has your Lord favoured you with sons and adopted angels as daughters for Himself? *46 Indeed it is a big lie that you are uttering.
